Hello, I'm Susy.
I started Susy Ivy Accounting after seeing how often business owners received completed reports without a clear explanation of what the numbers meant.
My role is to keep the work accurate, the obligations on schedule, and the financial information understandable enough to use.
Good accounting should leave you with more than accurate records. It should help you understand where your business stands and what deserves your attention next.
MY BACKGROUND
Eight years beside business owners.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an Associate degree in Business Administration. Over the past eight years, I have worked with entrepreneurs and small-business owners on the financial responsibilities that keep a company operating: bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, financial reporting, registrations, and year-end forms.
That experience taught me that most owners are not asking for more financial terminology. They want someone who notices what is missing, explains what matters, and follows through on the details.
That is the standard I brought to Susy Ivy Accounting: careful work, direct communication, and accounting that clients can understand without having to translate it themselves.

As a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Virginia, I provide notarial services for eligible documents.
As an IRS-authorized Certifying Acceptance Agent, I assist qualifying applicants with Form W-7, supporting identification documents, and the ITIN application process.
Having these services available through the same office gives clients one place to prepare their documentation, ask questions, and understand what may be required before the application moves forward.
